Stefania and Massimiliano, a young couple faced with their new apartment, wanted to create large convivial spaces. They requested an open space, so we combined the kitchen and living room in a way that allows them to communicate with harmony and balance.
On one side there’s the linear kitchen with a central island by Gentili Cucine: a bright and elegant white color was used in two finishes, to create a contrast between the shiny-lacquered wall units and the matte-lacquered base. The presence of details made of HPL laminate with wooden effect for the open compartments and the countertop of the island add movement and warmth to the composition, and help to break the chromatic line.
A wide corner sofa by Samoa, with extractable seats and adjustable headrests, is the core of the relax area. A tailor-made wall composition completes the room, hosting a TV, books, and personal objects.
The final result is characterized by a warm, refined, lively, balanced, and cozy atmosphere.
